We've developed 2030 Science-Based Targets for our Scope 1 & 2 carbon emission reductions, as well as the efforts that we'll undertake to meet those targets. We’ve reduced our scope 1 & 2 emissions by 15.2% to date compared to our 2019 baseline year.
Water is a critical natural resource, so we'll look first to minimize water use in our bakery operations and longer term in our supply chain.
As a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Aspire Bakeries supports the growing and processing of sustainable palm oil; all our bakeries are mass balance palm oil certified.
We ask all suppliers to sign Aspire's Vendor Code of Conduct and agree to third party audits. Our goal is to ensure that human rights are respected throughout our supply chain.
Aspire Bakeries reports annually on its cage-free eggs transition progress. As of January 1, 2025, we are at 22% cage-free eggs in the U.S. and 13% cage-free eggs in Canada.
